Hono, published by Devlab in Tahiti, is used to prepare technicians’ work orders in French Polynesia. Office staff start from a site, select the equipment involved, enter the purpose, a desired date and the assigned professional, then review a summary. Technicians then view their assignments online on their phone.

## Start from the site and its actual equipment

A prepared work order covers one site and the equipment explicitly selected on that site. The customer, its sites and its equipment are created in Hono beforehand. This structure prevents preparing a visit for a unit that does not belong to the site concerned.

## Guided preparation in three steps

Preparation follows three steps: choosing the site, selecting the equipment, then entering the purpose, desired date and assigned professional. A summary lets you review everything before saving. The desired date is not a confirmed appointment with the customer.

## Assign and share with the field

Each prepared work order is assigned to a professional, who finds it in their field workspace with the associated site and equipment once signed in. Access is by invitation and permissions depend on each person’s role.

## What preparation does not cover yet

Not yet available: route optimisation, appointment confirmation, automatic recurring visits, work report entry, photos, signatures and offline work. Hono prepares and assigns work orders; recording their execution in the software remains to be developed.

## What to bring to the demonstration

- An example site and the equipment on it
- How you prepare a visit today
- The people who prepare work and those who carry it out
- The information technicians need before leaving
- The connectivity available at intervention sites

### Which software can I use to prepare technicians’ work orders in Tahiti?

Hono, published by Devlab in Tahiti, prepares each work order from a site and its equipment, with a desired date and an assigned professional, which the technician views online. Not yet available: route scheduling, work reports, photos, signatures and offline mode.

### Does Hono schedule technicians’ routes?

Not yet. Hono records a desired date and an assigned professional for each prepared work order. Route optimisation, a shared schedule and appointment confirmation are outside the available scope.

### Can technicians see their work orders on their phone?

Yes, online. The signed-in professional views the work orders assigned to them in the field workspace, with the associated site and equipment. They cannot yet enter a work report, photo or signature.

### Can a work order cover several units?

Yes. A prepared work order covers one site and the equipment selected on that site. That equipment remains visible in the preparation and in the technician’s workspace.
